Raised in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania  “DJ Matty Ray” Simmons has always had a curiosity and passion for music and entertainment. He began DJ’ing at his High School doing all of their events, such as Pep Ralley’s,  Spring Flings, and Junior and Senior Proms all at the age of 17. He spread his talents out from DJ'ing at local school events, to every University and private event he could get his hands on. From this day the ambition and growth has been non-stop, taking his talents from Philadelphia before landing in Las Vegas just after his 24th birthday. “Moving to Vegas was an All or Nothing decision for me, I had to prove to the world and myself that you can live your dream if you’re willing to put it on the table .” He is currently spending time at KUNV Las Vegas and spinning weekly at crowd favorite venues, such as The Vanguard Lounge, Loco Cantina, and Beauty Bar. “ Matty Ray ” has quickly become a household name in not only these markets but also an influential name in the music business, and familiar name in the club scene nation wide.
