M-Audio AV42's for Production *

First the good news: They sound a lot better than cheap computer speakers, with both having more bass and a fuller sound. I used these for mainly production purposes and also for the occasional " Turn-Up" These do have a suttle low end that you can hear when turning up half way depending on the song you are playing. They are sturdy and the quality is impeccable. I had them for almost two years now and they are in perfect condition!

I dropped them twice and they didn't crack nor dent granted they fell on carpet. I would recommend them for anybody beginning in the audio production/engineering career.

The Overall Truth: Great speakers for the price. They could have been louder but then again I'm a loud music drunkie. I love having my music loud and blasting so that I can't hear anything. I really don't have anything bad to say about these. You pay for what you get but in this case it's deffinety worth the price.
